Join us once again at NYIG Manhattan for the 3rd New York State Go Championship! Open to players of all ages and experience.

Thousands in cash prizes, trophies, and more will be up for grabs in all divisions! Alongside a $1200 top prize, we will also crown the 2025 Open and Youth state champions. The main tournament will be six rounds of AGA-rated games, held on February 15th & 16th.

Players must arrive between 8:00-9:00AM for check-in, and games will begin at 9:30AM on both days. The time setting is Fischer, 30min+15sec. We expect to end around 5:30-6:00pm on each day.

After the championship, join us on Monday, February 17th (President's Day) for a full day of informal Go fun! Enjoy self-paired games, a Pair Go tournament, simuls and game reviews with professional players, and more! We are also excited to have legendary Go champion Kim Jiseok 9-dan join us once again to play games with attendees!

Players can attend any combination of days. Registration closes February 14th and is limited to 120 players. Register by Jan 31st for a discounted entrance fee.
