The NYGA Go Workshop is a Go networking event for players who wish to have an all-rounded Go experience beyond classes and tutorials. This is a 5-hour Go enrichment program that meets once per month, featuring a simultaneous game with go pros, an in-depth lecture, and discussions of Go culture: from history to current trends.
Workshop schedule (Saturday 1:30 – 6:30 pm)
1:30 – 2:00 Theme topic discussion (e.g. AI development, teaching Go to beginners, Go culture)
2:00 – 3:15 Simul Game with teacher (everyone plays with the teacher) and review
3:15 – 3:30 Coffee break
3:30 – 4:30 Lecture Series: Famous Players and their Famous Games
4:30 – 5:30 Paired Games
5:30 – 6:30 Game review from paired games and NYGA Monthly Tournament (must be emailed to email@example.com in advance).
Restrictions: All participants must be over the age of 13, unless with special permission by an instructor.
Time: The Saturday that follows each NYGA Monthly Tournament (NMT). In December, the workshop will take place on the Saturday prior to the Grand Final.
Venue: New York Institute of Go, 255-05 Northern Blvd, Little Neck, NY.
Single tickets cannot be extended to the next workshop.

** 5-session season tickets can be used in any one 6-month period, and 5-session season tickets can be used in any one 12-month period.
FREE workshop attendance for all first-time participants upon purchase of a season ticket. Otherwise, the first trial workshop is $50. Limited to one per participant.
